Key Moment Films wrote it best: rain would not put a damper on Noikha and Shelby's wedding day. They were married in Palm Beach at the Royal Poinciana Chapel, followed by dinner and dancing at the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum. Not only was this a beautiful wedding, but it was a wedding where everyone could feel the love among the couple, their families and friends!

A huge thank you to the team who worked so hard to make the day such a success!

Real Wedding : Olivia + Nicholas' Palm Beach Wedding at Flagler Museum

Today, this week, this month, this year, I have been taken aback by how fast the time has been flying by!  More than anything else, I feel blessed LDE's business is living in this reality! All the hours, meetings, calls, emails, text messages, the office work, the planning, the planning, the planning, the effort, the personalities, all the behind-the-scenes happenings clients' never know about...the job description is never ending. And as challenging as this profession is, it will never be too challenging to change how much I love my job! I could never imagine dedicating this much too anything else - except of course, The Princess!

This year, LDE has had the pleasure of working with some pretty fabulous couples!  After the wedding has come and gone, it is a little difficult that the meeting and calls between our favorite clients become less.  Which is why it so exciting when we receive that special email sharing the good news that the wedding photos and trailer are available!  It is so exciting to be able to go back to the wedding day, the day we spent over 365 days planning!   And today was that day when Black Label Wedding Films shot me the text, "Olivia and Nicholas' highlight is live!!"

To be honest, Olivia and Nicholas deserve an epic poem of praise.  They are the couple where every second we spent together, on the phone, texting, emailing, of course when we had in person planning meeting, they were always a true joy!

Below is the trailer of their wedding day, created by Black Label Wedding Films.  It is a beautiful glimpse of their gorgeous wedding celebration at the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum!

Real Moment : The Bride's First Look at Flagler Museum in Palm Beach

What does it takes to brighten my day?  I could write an epic poem, and one verse would be dedicated to wedding pictures.   So when this beautiful shot from a previous LDE wedding came across my desk today,  it's easy to understand why I felt it had to be shared with all of you!

One year has passed since this wedding, but I am instantly transported back to this day when I see this shot.  Like it was yesterday, I remember neatly tucking away this sweet, gorgeous LDE bride into the limo.  To myself, I could not believe how radiant she looked.  She just so happens to already be the sweetest person, but she also spent the afternoon with Ms. Ivette Gil  and her Beauty Design Team, having a blast getting her hair and makeup done in an ocean view suite at The Breakers.  Um, think this would put a smile on just about any one's face!

In the blink of an eye, her limo left the valet circle, and turned onto Country Road.  The drive is a short distance from the The Breakers to the wedding venue, but I know it feels like an eternity on a bride's wedding day.  From Cocoanut Row to Whitehall Way...

... and then this.

... the instant when our bride has her first glimpse of where her sunset wedding ceremony will shortly take place:  the iconic and magnificent, Henry Morrison Flagler Museum - and captured perfectly by Ambrosio Photography.

Honestly, it's an extraordinary feeling for me to see the professional photography from my weddings; and I can only imagine the feeling for our clients!

So what happens next?  Be sure to check back for the full recap from our Flagler Museum wedding! And of course, always check in to see the shenanigans and happenings at LDE, as we continue to plan from Palm Beach to New York, Florence and all that lies in between!

Real Wedding : Amanda + Christopher's Palm Beach Trump Wedding

As time flies by, the entire team at LDE continues to work around the clock, helping me bring to life all the ideas I've dreamed up for my clients on their special day! And somehow, blogging the fabulous, daily behind the scenes posts of my crazy life as a wedding planner, has become the equivalent of me climbing Mount Everest. However, I will gladly force-pause when I get emails containing links like the ones I'm sharing today!

Over a year ago, I was fortunate enough to meet Amanda and her mother, Linda! Not only did we click with planning, but we all became fast friends! Many meetings, phone calls, maybe even a few bottles of prosecco, and we arrived to April in the blink of an eye. They wanted a Palm Beach wedding that no one would forget, and Team LDE brought it, executing one of the best weddings in our eight years!

Story book - fairy tale all the way, starting at St. Edward in Palm Beach with the "I Do", and ending at Trump International Golf Club with the party of the season.

Seriously, what a special wedding this was! Yes, because the couple and their family are all amazing people. And because of the added bonus that I was fortunate enough to bring on board ALL of my favorite colleagues to produce this most incredible celebration.

So ab-so-lut-ly, I will pause and allow myself to be transported right back to one of my absolute, all time favorite weddings by way of loving the imagery of Chris Joriann and cinematic magic of Senderey Video.

Some serious thanks you are in order - because unless you are illiterate, we all know there is no "I" in Team!

Thank you to Chris Joriann for shooting the you know what out of this wedding. And TY to the boys from Senderey Video, who not only capture all the very special moments, but knock out a trailer two days after the wedding!

Xquisite Events. I can never just say enough about my Nancy and her team at Xquisite. Despite working with them weekend after weekend after weekend, their work is always a fresh and beautiful!
Rock With U, enough said. Love you DJ Dean Michaels and love all my boys of Fusion!

Ivette, the lead stylist and owner of Pretty Suite, who made Amanda glow all day and into the night! My bride smiled and twirled in the most beautiful blush, custom fit, Casablanca gown from J del Olmo Bridal. Vivian, you are a true professional!

Thank you so my favey-fave-fave cake designer, Jennifer, who is The Sugar Monkey. She created a stunning tower of confection for everyone to enjoy, including myself!

And last, but certainly not least, Ms. Sue Carboy and her staff at Trump International Golf Club. There is never enough praise I can shower Sue with. Sue, you are simply the best!

Enjoy the cinematic work of Senderey Video, and be sure to check back soon for even more LDE shenanigans + happenings, as we continue to plan from Palm Beach to Florence and everywhere in between!

Real Wedding : Courtney + Tyler's Breakers Wedding in Palm Beach

2014 has been a complete whirlwind for LDE. We have been blessed with working with the most incredible clients on their beautiful weddings, creating over the top styled shoots in exotic locales, and a major expansion into the European market with our soon to launch Jet Set Fête! However, no matter what interesting stones we turn over here at LDE, it's always so much fun to relive the day our clients said, "I Do."

This past weekend, we shared in the joy of the union of Courtney and Tyler. This story book wedding was held at The Breakers, the iconic Palm Beach destination for a fairy tale wedding.  It featured every element a princess bride dreams of and it was a joy to plan.

The event was produced with an incredible team of my fave industry colleagues : Ambrosio Photography, Senderey Video, Vox Blu, Pretty Suite, Jorge Penn, Solutions Bridal and The Sugar Monkey. Enjoy the cinematic work of Senderey, and be sure to check back soon for the full wedding recap!

Real Wedding : Kristen + Greg's Flagler Museum Wedding in Palm Beach

In the last few moments of Mother's Day 2014, I find myself defeated by a cold and sick in bed. However, I can think of nothing else that would lift my spirits more than sharing the trailer from Kristen + Greg's perfect Palm Beach wedding, held at the iconic Royal Poinciana Chapel and Henry Morrison Flagler Museum

Kristen, Greg + their families bring a level of love and warmth everywhere they go. It was an honor to plan this wedding and now a treasure to have the Coleman-Doyle crew as friends.

As it should, this wedding will feature an incredible photographic recap from Ambrosio Photography. For tonight, please enjoy the cinematic work of LDE faves, Senderey Video Production and be sure to check back soon for the full wedding recap!

Veronica + Carlos

Meet Veronica + Carlos!

Recently, I read a quote from Brian Tracey that resonated with me. He wrote, "the greatest gift that you can give to others is the gift of unconditional love and acceptance."

What a truth this is.

I mean, how fortunate it is when two people are able to find one another in life!  What could be more fantastic than this - and I am given the chance to bear witness to this "gift" for a living. The very thing Brian Tracey so eloquently writes about is something I am in the presence of every day.

Veronica and Carlos are blessed with this love, I saw it from our very first meeting.  The past six months has been a pleasure help create their beautiful wedding and become friends at the same time.  In less than two months, friends and family will travel from near and far to celebrate there love at The Colony in Palm Beach. But for now, enjoy the love that radiates from V + C and cross your fingers I don't check out from the LDE blog until the fall of 2014!

Real Weddings : Patty + Francois, Norton Museum of Art

Lauren Daversa Events started 2011 going over 100 MPH and I am only slowing down for a minute to write this post! I could not be more excited to share the first wedding of this new year, which belonged to the ridiculously good looking Patty + Francois - and by the way, I infused that sentence with a little essence of Zoolander.

So, Patty + Francois are not only beautiful but they are passionate about the world in which we live in - it's truly inspiring. When I first sat with Patty and her mother in August of 2010, we discussed one of their main goals for the wedding: a desire to be conscious of the carbon footprint it would leave behind. Carefully, invitations, food, decor, favors were all selected keeping their wished close to heart.

Only food from local sources was served at the wedding; the invitations were printed on recycled paper; fruit was used for centerpieces in lieu of flowers; the groom ventured out the day before the wedding and picked oranges right off of the tree, which we used for table number holders; the aisle was made of burlap which (by now) has probably been put to use in the families garden; and the couple made homemade granola for favors. I tasted it...it was delicious!

Another very important detail for the wedding that Patty shared with me was the absolute necessity for an amazing band. Immediately I could only think of one man for the job, my fav, Mr. Jose Betancourt and his band! Simply put, they are the best. Jose had EVERYONE dancing...everyone!

Of course the staff at The Norton and the entire team from Lyon + Lyon were fabulous and the evening was just perfect. And on top of all this amazing-ness, it's always extra special to work so closely with a couple who have very strong personal beliefs and be able to reflect their beliefs into their wedding. Just an awesome wedding for a wonderful couple! Please enjoy the images shot by Jessica Lorren Organic Photography.

Real Weddings : Jon + Libby : Destination Wedding In Palm Beach

Libby + Jon. Where to even start? From the beginning, we clicked! It's hard not to click with them as they might be the most easy going, sweetest couple in south Florida! Seriously.

They gave me eight months to put together a fun, elegant wedding for them and they received so much more than they ever could imagine! Not to toot my own horn, but the program that was put together for them was nothing short of amazing.

Q.
Want to know what made this wedding work?

A.
1 wedding planner + 2 assistants, 3 cinematographers, 2 photographers, 1 string quartet, 7 musicians + 1 DJ + 1 Emcee, 36 high intensity LED uplytes, 2 H2O lights, round ottomans, leather couches, cube ottomans, square ottomans, acrylic cubes, chivari chairs, 26 centerpieces, valet, the entire staff from Trump, amazing family and friends and the sweetest, happiest, couple of 2010!

That's right, this is just some of the magic that it took to ensure that 250 guests had an unforgettable night! And I can say from experience, this wedding was - hands down - one of the top weddings of my year! Please enjoy just a few of the images captured by Kat Braman. In fact, she did such an incredible job documenting this wedding, I've had to break this up into a two part post.
