There are a lot of DIY projects out there that come across to be ultra cool but in reality they are not cool at all. A lot of the times, the reasons the projects look so cool is because there is a great photographer is taking an awesome picture of a not so cool idea. But, once in a while a fabulous idea is born. Not only is the idea fabulous but it will translate very well when the non-crafty person attempts it at home. This is exactly the case with the DIY Christian Louboutin sandals by Love Meagan. I am not going to tell you if the picture above is the Louboutin or Meagan's recreation!

I like Hugh Jackman. He can sing, he can dance, he can act and, duh, he's handsome so basically this commercial just rules! However, it does strike an alarmingly close resemblance to Fatboy Slim's video for Weapon of Choice featuring the untouchable Christopher Walken.

I think chocolate has gone to Dr. Troy and Dr. McNamara and gotten a little Nip / Tuck, or at least hired a new publicist because it has been popping up all over the place and in new and sophisticated ways. Signature Drink Club : Korbel Irish Kiss Cocktail
In honor of Saint Patrick’s Day, which is quietly approaching, March's signature drink celebrates a non-beer related recipe. Introducing the Korbel Irish Kiss Cocktail!
Ingredients
4 oz Korbel California Brut Champagne
1 oz. Midori Melon Liqueur
Serve in a green sugar-rimmed champagne flute
Directions
Mix the champagne and Midori together and pour (pretty simple!)
To make sugar rim: add 2 drops of green food coloring to 1/2 cup sugar
Mix well
Rub glass rim with lime and dip in green sugar mixture

Back in December, Kalpana contacted Lauren Daversa Events to help with her November 2010 wedding. L | D Finds : Galactic Suite
Apparently, Fly Me To The Moon will be more than a great song in the year 2012 when, according to CNN, a Galactic Suite will be unveiled. This will be the first hotel planned in space and would allow guests to travel around the world in 80 minutes. The Galactic Suite's Barcelona-based architects say the space hotel will be the most expensive in the galaxy, costing a mere $4 million for a three-day stay.
What could be more out of the world than a suite in outer space? How about the fact that more than 200 people have expressed an interest in travelling to the space hotel and at least 43 people have already reserved. WOW! Maybe one of my future clients is one of those 200 people, and they plan on making Lauren Daversa Events the first event planner in space who will plan the biggest party on this side of the galaxy!!! If so, I am bringing my mustache!
